We have to give a nod to Kathy Deggendorfer, of Sisters, who designed this year's quilt show poster, since our color choices were based on her palette. But everyone in our group did a great job this year in creating their own surface-designed fabric based on Kathy's palette. We used more challenging techniques than last year, including fabric marbling, dyeing (several types, including shibori), hand-painting, stamping, stenciling, and using DeColourant, a product that both discharges AND replaces color.Joannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09495705059997718852noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6467699026094550585.post-5480539615145935582012-08-09T17:35:02.377-07:002012-08-09T17:35:02.377-07:00I love the vibrant colors that everyone is using!I love the vibrant colors that everyone is using!Dayna Collinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02080849301800063615noreply@blogger.com
